A Covid Confindent stay at The Forge Dungate:
Here's what we'll be doing to make your stay as safe and enjoyable as possible.
We are following government and industry Covid-19 guidelines and have acquired the industry standard mark of 'AA Covid-19 Confident', so you can be assured we are doing everything possible to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing. You can be assured that inside will have been thoroughly cleaned and sanitised, with stringent measures of hygiene.
There will be hand sanitiser and extra cleaning materials supplied. Your keys will have been thoroughly disinfected and left in a key safe for you. Any items that cannot be easily cleaned, such as quilts and pillows, will be rotated so there is at least 72 hours between their use.
We'll be asking you to help keep us all safe by agreeing to make up your own bed and strip it on departure, empty the fridge and remove any rubbish and recycling before you go.
If you book a stay with us and are unable to travel due to a government enforced restriction, your holiday can be rescheduled or your payment refunded. Otherwise, normal booking conditions will apply.

Following completion of our Covid-19 Risk Assessment, we have felt it necessary to implement the procedures outlined below, in order to minimise contamination risks relating to Covid -19.

Anyone with symptoms of Covid-19 or has reason to believe they may have come into contact with the virus, up to 14 days prior to their booking, must follow NHS guidelines.

Should guests develop Covid-19 symptoms during their stay, they are advised to return home as soon as possible to get back to their NHS support area. If a guest does not return home and stays in the accommodation longer than their booking, they will be liable for all costs relating to affected bookings as a result of their extended stay.

For arrivals, there will be a Key Safe in operation and hand sanitiser available at the front door.

Additional cleaning/disinfecting materials will be provided for guests to use on a regular basis throughout their stay, to enhance our own extensive cleaning regime which adheres to government guidelines.

Guests will be asked to make up beds in order to minimise our handling of clean linen.

On departure, guests will be required to strip beds, including protectors and place used linen in bags provided.

Used towels should be placed in the shower enclosure.

Guests will be required to empty the fridge, freezer and all bins on departure. Waste to be placed into tied bags and put into the outside waste bins.
