Welcoming you back to The Forge Dungate
We're ready to welcome you back to The Forge Dungate. Here's what we'll be doing to make your stay as safe and enjoyable as possible.
Our fairly remote location means you can have blissful seclusion and enjoy miles of countryside walks all to yourself.
You can be assured that inside will have been thoroughly cleaned and sanitised, with stringent measures of hygiene.
We are following government and industry Covid-19 guidelines and have acquired the industry standard marks of 'We're Good to Go' and 'AA Covid-19 Confident', so you can be assured we are doing everything possible to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.
There will be hand sanitiser and extra cleaning materials supplied. Your keys will have been thoroughly disinfected and left in a key safe for you. Any items that cannot be easily cleaned, such as quilts and pillows, will be rotated so there is at least 72 hours between their use.
We'll be asking you to help keep us all safe by making up your own bed and stripping it on departure, emptying the fridge and removing any rubbish and recycling before you go.
If you book a stay with us and are unable to travel due to a government enforced restriction, a positive Covid test or you have to self isolate due to test and trace, your holiday can be rescheduled or your payment refunded. Otherwise, normal booking conditions will apply.
Our full Covid-19 procedures are explained below and are subject to change at any time.
Following completion of our Covid-19 Risk Assessment (5th June 2020), we have felt it necessary to implement the procedures outlined below, in order to minimise contamination risks relating to Covid -19.
Anyone with symptoms of Covid-19 or has reason to believe they may have come into contact with the virus, up to 14 days prior to their booking, must follow NHS guidelines. Therefore they should not arrive on site.
Should guests develop Covid-19 symptoms during their stay, they should notify us and return home immediately to self isolate. Should a subsequent Covid-19 test prove positive, we must be informed asap. If a guest does not return home and stays in the accommodation, they will be liable for all costs relating to affected bookings as a result of their extended stay.
There will be social distanced meet and greets with a Key Safe in operation.
Additional cleaning/disinfecting materials will be provided for guests to use on a regular basis throughout their stay, to enhance our own extensive cleaning regime, which adheres to government guidelines.
Guests will be asked to make up beds in order to minimise our handling of clean linen.
On departure, guests will be required to strip beds, including protectors and place used linen in bags provided.
Used towels should be placed in the shower enclosure.
Guests will be asked to empty the fridge, freezer and all bins on departure. Waste to be placed into tied bags and put into the outside waste bins.
