My husband, Steve and I are true dog lovers and it's our pleasure to welcome you and your dogs to The Forge.

 

We know how difficult it can be to find truly dog friendly accommodation that welcomes all your dogs.  Here at The Forge there is no limit to how many dogs may stay, as long as the accommodation is suitable in size for them,  you can bring them all for free.

We supply micro fibre dog towels, throws for the sofas, non slip mats, cool mats, water bowls, a few toys and a treat or two of course. 

​

The large, fully enclosed garden is perfect for your dogs to safely play and explore. It's fenced to a height of just over a metre with a mixture of post and rail, small square stock fencing and native hedging to compliment the surroundings.  Additional wire mesh has been incorporated at lower levels for our tiny visitors.

​A large tree provides some welcome shade in the summer.

With fields and woodland right on your doorstep, dog friendly beaches, country parks and nature reserves just a few minutes drive away, there's wonderful places for you and your dogs to visit every day.​

​If your dog is unreliable off lead, then our fully enclosed exercise field is a wonderful space for your dogs to enjoy some off lead fun and is available for your sole use at any time (with a little prior notice on the day).​ It has its own private access and a drinking water station to keep them hydrated.

​

We'll leave your keys in a key safe for you on arrival so you can quickly settle in, put the kettle on and the dogs can stretch their legs after your journey.  We'll be close at hand if you need us at any time.
